I've just been looking at the 1851 census for Rachel and this is where she states she was born:-

Llanfrynach, Pembrokeshire, Wales

I'm just going to check the 1861 census and see if that says the same.

Added:-  Same birthplace in the 1861.
Ashford: Somerset, London
England: Devon, London, New Zealand
Holdway: Wiltshire
Hooper: Bristol, Somerset
Knowling: Devon, London
Southcott: Devon, China
Strong: Wiltshire
Watson: Cambridgeshire
White: Bristol

I think you may have to visit Pembrokeshire Archives to locate any record of Rachel's baptism.  They have records for Llanfyrnach covering the dates 1765 to 1812.

Scroll down to nearly the bottom of the page and there are contact details listed.  You could try contacting them to see if they can help in any way.  Bear in mind that if they do a search they may well make a charge for this.

I can't seem to find any records online that cover the relevant period of time.
