I do agree with dawnsh about William's birth certificate.  However, we're not terribly sure of his parents, are we?  I would be more tempted to go for his marriage certificate to Eliza Francis in the first instance, because we know that she is the mother of his children.  The marriage certificate will hopefully name William's father, so that we then have more leverage for the birth certificate.  I know that it costs a little more as it is not available as a .pdf file - so £9.25 as opposed to £6.00.

Your choice, obviously  :-*

Bumble bee yes it is the will of William MooreI have also ordered birth cert of William b.1856 guiltcross  thanks for your input dawnsh as for the marriage cert with Eliza I cannot find a marriage anywhere. Phillip searching I guessed small inaccuracies may be to blame Annette 7 has a different slant of illligitamacy which could well be the case and has me thinking that William is not necessarily a Moore but chooses to call himself a Moore. As annette has confirmed william moore dosnt appear on the  first census after his birth 1861 then appears 1871 I think maybe adopted, or just called himself the same as the family he was living with.i remain confused.

Oops, yes, sorry, I forgot that his marriage to Eliza was under the surname of Moor.   :'(

As explained on other thread William is shown as Garrod with the family on 1861 census.

As you have ordered the certificate, we hope that you will come back to us with the result.  I think we are all intrigued by this.
