possible family member - help with dating please Edwards & Son Photo

This is a photo on a 'divided back' postcard & may be of a family member.

It would help if I could get an approx date of the photo & any views on the young lady's age are welcome - I am guessing 18/19?

On the reverse of the card it says 'To dear Edie - From May with love xxx'

Edward Bex operated a photography business from around 1905 until about 1920, at 20 New Street, Worthing, under the name of "Edwards & Son" - his blind stamp is in the bottom right hand corner

I am wondering if it may be a sweetheart photo for a WW1 soldier - is she holding 'forget me not flowers'?

She is definitely displaying that watch isn't she Ryan...could be symbolic if her boyfriend was going to war and she had the photo taken to give to him in sweet remembrance... oh...I feel a story coming on 
I don't think those are Forget-Me-Nots though. It's a lovely image....nice to see her smiling too.

Ryan?  - I have a memory that Jim mentioned on a previous post of mine some time ago that that style of watch was associated with WW1
