Hello,

I have death information about my great grandfathers sister.
Was wondering if anyone could look up a burial for her please.

Marguerite Amy Allen death 20/06/1897 Northampton age 14 days

The death was registered in Northampton in 1897 as you say.
Northamptonshire, England, Church of England Burials, 1813-1912
are on A.....y, I have browsed through all the parish churches in Northampton and no burial listed.
I would guess Marguerite was buried in one of the Northampton cemeteries, it may be worth contacting them.

Billing Road Cemetery.
Marguerite Amy Allen of 13, Francis Street, aged 14 days, died 20th June 1897, buried 24th June 1897 in grave no A2 5146, No Service.

Alan Clarke has an index of Northampton Burials also.

No I am afraid not although if you know of another member I could see I they are buried in same grave.

I have just looked up her parents Edgar Francis Allen 1953 and Amy Ellen Allen nee Whitehead 1924 and they are both buried together in Grave 633.

Hi Lisa.

Most of that area is clear of any headstones.

You could ask Northampton Cemetery Office to maybe mark the grave for you.

Infants were often buried with an adult also being buried the same day.  It saved on cost  :'(
