1896 Voyage to Cape Town
« on: Sunday 21 October 18 14:12 BST (UK) »
Mr.A.G.Taylor of 44, Herbert Street, Swindon, Wiltshire, England sailed to Cape Town on 28 November 1896. The ship's name is recorded as "GREEK" but I cannot find any ship with that name and am wondering if it was in fact from the Greece Shipping Line. Any ideas , anyone?
Thanks, Toby.

There was a ship named Greek which departed Southampton on that date. She belonged to the Union Steamship Company at that time. She was renamed Segura in 1906.
