TWP Norman Bay, Grey County.
« on: Sunday 21 October 18 21:12 BST (UK) »
Hi all,

I hope you can be of assistance.  I have found a couple of records for ancestors as being born in TWP Norman Bay, Grey County, Ontario.  However, I cannot seem to locate this area in Google Maps.  The only place I can find a Norman Bay is in Kenora!  Can anyone advise if there is a township called Norman Bay in Grey County, and perhaps the name has changed?  Or has this been an error in the records...?  The ancestors I am looking at were born around the 1930s.  I have very little experience of researching ancestry in Canada, therefore please accept my apologies if I have missed something wildly obvious!  ::)

Thank you in advance  :)

Yes, Normanby Township in Grey County.  What names are you researching?  Birth records that recent are not available to the general public; however, marriage and death records are.
