I am trying to find the birth record of Francis George Boulton - b abt 1845 Kensington ( well the baptism records show he was baptised in 1845) and died abt 1928 in Hammersmith. Hie parents were George Boulton b 1810 and Ann William

Failure to register a birth only became a fineable offence from 1874/75 so there are many unregistered births prior to then

well the baptism records show he was baptised in 1845

Where did you find the baptismal entry?

Ann is shown as unmarried on the 1851 entry.  That is either an enumerator error or if not - she may have been the daughter of Mary William from a previous marriage

1861 Ann Boulton has aged 16yrs and is 45 and married living with widowed mother Mary and 2 more children.  Harry/Henry b Slough Bucks aged 5 and Mary A 4mths b Middlesex
