Hi I wonder if some one could look up James Taylor and family in 1871.
In1861 he was at Wigton St. Penninghame Age 49 with his children Mary Ann  14
             Elizabeth  11 
             Alexander   8
             Grace          6
              Jemima       4

Hi Ve,
Don't know if you are aware or not, but the 1871 census for Scotland can be viewed on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk website. It's a minefield of information with Births, Marriages, Deaths and Census returns. You buy credits (30 for £6 & last for 7 days) but if used wisely you can get a lot for your money.
