Thomas Thomas Schoolmaster in CWM

Hi, I am wondering if any one has any info of the Village, Cwm as my friend's grt Grandfather was the Schoolteacher in the late 1800's early 1900's. It would be interesting to find mentions of him or the family in any old written historical stuff. Would anyone know of any? It would be greatly appreciated.

Do you by any chance know which area yous might be in?
On BVRI #2 there are several births for Thomas Thomas.

Hi It is CWM Flintshire though he was born in Bryncroes. I have him listed on censuses for a few years . Thanks for your response.

On your list I believe the CWM is Denbighshire. Boundary changes and all that we have it as Flintshire on the Census forms.

Hello Tisgrannie,
I found Thomas on the 1901 census aged 54 born at Bryncross and a schoolmaster at Cwm.

The Flintshire record office at Hawarden Tel 01244 532364,
should have the school records for that period and may be able to find some documentation to help you.

Hi just come across your post as I was looking for something else. I visited the graveyard in Cwm today and remember seeing Thomas Thomas headstone there.
