Hi, now trying to find William Goadby from Newtown Linford on any of the earlier Censuses.  he was born around 1835 and married Sarah Ann (Smith?).  Also looking for William Goadby (snr) born about 1799 and married Jane Henson also in Newtown Linford.

Many thanks Mike, your help is very much appreciated.  The information is very useful.  I have found quite a few of the Goadbys but not a lot of dates for their births/christenings/marriages etc.  Is it possible that William Goadby (born 1798) married before.  I have a marriage date for William Goadby and Jane Henson - 7th April 1829, Newtown Linford.  If so, then could William and Elizabeth have children?  On second thoughts though, the William that married Elizabeth could be another relative - going by when my William was born.   Barbara Henson is the mother-in-law to  my William. 

I have found 2 sister to William - Ann and Mary - so it is possible that Thomas could be a brother.  I think their parents were Michael Goadby and Ann (not sure if her surname could be Johnson).  Many thanks again,
