Hi Gilld,

How are you getting on with your Taylor's !

Have you managed to track them throught the Census returns ?

Best of Luck

Barzillai must have a great story somewhere!

As yet not found anyone else researching this branch, have had fantastic luck with other families, but not my Taylors. :(

The Cambs web sites are very useful and free and have proved very useful. I have managed to trace the family back to late 1700/ early 1800. :)

Hope that someone reads this who is looking for Barzillai's ancestors and descendants.

Gill   :)

That someone has just read this post and is indeed also researching Barzillai Taylor.

If my research is correct (I'm confident it is), Barzillai is my 3x Great Grandfather.

Barzillai Taylor (1814-1881) Kirtling, Cambs
>
William Taylor (1850-1909) Kirtling, Cambs
>
John Taylor (1892-1964) Stow Cum Quy, Cambs
>
Hugh Ronald Taylor (1931-) Wisbech, Cambs
>
Derek Hugh Taylor (1955-) Ely, Cambs
>
Danial Luke Taylor (1985-) Margate, Kent

Major long shot, that you might see my reply, years after the fact, but you never know!

I have traced my line to Jacob Taylor (1597-1628) of Kirtling, Cambs.

Hopefully here from you soon.
