Can you identify these medals please?
« on: Sunday 21 August 05 16:24 BST (UK) »
the medals are my grandfathers WW1. they are inscribed round the edge with his name and number.
the brassy coloured one says on the reverse The Great War for Civilisation 1914-1919
I can see on the reverse of one, just about, For Bravery in the Field, they all seem to be stuck down, my father had new ribbons attached in 1992 before his death. I have a copy of the invoice, I also have a copy (my brother has the originals) of a statement about 33 Division British expeditionary Force, and his discharge Army Form B 2067, copies attached in next post.
Thanks
Newbie

Hi Trevor,
thanks for the info, are they the wrong medal ribbons then? They were renewed (or redone) as I said in 1992, by an army specialist!  I'm not sure they should be stuck down?
