I've got goosebumps, Andrew! I cannot believe my eyes!

You have found my great-grandparents, Joseph and Elizabeth Pattinson! Oh JOY! Where did you find them, Andrew?

I'm sure that the Roberts are also in my line as I have Hall Carleton in my notes, somewhere...

Thank you, thank you!

Dear Andrew,

What can I say? I am gobsmacked, you have done so much for me.  Just to think I was saving the Lamploughs for the future.

My dad sure has an interesting lineage, on my mums side they were all clog makers.

This probably accounts for the illusions of grandeur  which my children accuse me of, time to polish up the old tiara methinks,

I cannot thank you enough, ;D ;D ;D

Hello again Andrew,

Just to say the last message was tongue in cheek, in all probability my ancestors were the ag. labs and serfs and merely named after the village, but it will be fun finding out,

the links by the way are great,

thank you ;D

Please to be of help

Donna

Did you get the mail I sent and is this a relation, it was the died in British Columbia part that caught my eye, its not often you see mentions of the Colonies.

The photo was taken in Egremont, which is part way between her and Drigg

Wow! Thank you Andrew.  ;D That CWGC link is fantastic

I never thought of looking in Egremont, as most of my lot lived between Whitehaven and Maryport, These are definitely mine though.

I just decided to have a walk around it and found several graves as well as a lady who I got talking to who has given me the address of a possible relative on my mothers side.
