Hiya,

I've drawn a blank here.  There is a Bracken Park in Ayr and there is a a Bracken Bar.  This may show there was an old area with the name "Bracken" something.

When I google I find there is a "Bracken Ridge" and an Ayr in Queensland Australia. This gets the most hits.  I also see there is a road called "bracken ridge" in Dromure Co. Down in Northern Ireland.

Not much help sorry.  It may be the name of a farmstead and therefore much smaller and more difficult to find.  What details do you have to help locate it?
