Working Mens Reform Union - Thomas Hilton
« on: Wednesday 07 September 05 16:12 BST (UK) »
Hi Folks

I have just come across an old document dated June 1892, given to my gt gt granfather Mr Thomas Hilton. It is from the Members of the Trowbridge Working Mens Reform Union and the Members of the Trowbridge Liberal Club.

He was given this document plus a purse of monies when he left the town for all the political work he gave and the energies to advance the cause.

Questions - Does this union still excist - Has anybody got information on this union

Any help on the union or the person would be grately appreciated

On this document in the top left hand side it is printed Justice for Ireland (any ideas?)

Regards
Ken
