1901 Birth Record

Does anyone know how I can find a Birth Record for a Cecil Pearce born 8th March 1901 or 1902 father Walter Pearce.  Family moved to SA from England mid 1890s and back to England about 1905.

There's a claim for compensation in the Transvaal in 1903 (did your Walter move to the Transvaal and was he forced to leave as a foreigner at the outbreak of the Boer War? if so this might be his:)

The document is in the Transvaal archives and you would need a local researcher to find it and copy it, unless you can persuade the archive to send you a copy themselves.
