Missing Stanley

Trying to trace a Frank or Francis Stanley - born 1846, Calne to Charles and Sarah Stanley.

1851 census - has Frank Stanley staying with Grandparents in Pippin, Calne-
John Zebedee and Jane (nee Duck)

Thanks - I wondered if he was an infant death but now got him at 15!
(My ggrandfather is on this one as Lebedee! His name was Zebedee!)

This probably a translation error from the orginal record. I have the same problem with some of my ancestors.

I am looking to see if i can find him in any other census and will pass on anything at that i find

Thank you - I do have this one. My ggrandfathers family - then his mother - being a widow (Sarah).
Have found John Stanley on the 1881 census in Bradford, York!!!
He was a lodger and is stated as being unmarried and was a house painter and paperer!(fits with family occupations)
His mother's family was from York - I wonder if he was tracing HIS roots like I am now!!!

He could be as i have found at least one person who was researching an offshoot who was able to take one part of my family tree all the way back 1590. An idea might be to place something in the surname interest with as mush information as you can and someone might pick notice a name and take you from there
