Hi Carrie
I have spoken to my mum and her photo is an aerial photo of Owls Nest Farm and she thinks it is modern - maybe 1960's.  I can get it and try to scan and upload for you in the next month. My mum's grandparents were Charles George Champion (1880-1962) and Ella Wyndham Flower (1880-1960).
Charles George Champion - Father - Henry G Champion (1854-1924)
-Mother - Mary Ann Griffin (1857-1940)

I have an incomplete family tree on Genes Reunited but will be re-starting the family tree on Ancestry in the next couple of months.  I was going to simplify it to just include immediate family and not brother and sisters as it just gets too big but will see how I get on.
Mum said there are a lot of Champion headstones in the Alveston Church Yard.

Fantastic info.
Thank you so much.

Is there a way we can send messages so we can access eachother's trees?

Will be visiting Alveston later this month and interested in getting the address for the Owls Nest.  My father, Charles Frances Champion, his siblings and parents lived there.  Looks like the family moved there in 1909 census records show Ella Flowers Champion father died in Binegar, Somerset in 1909 and Albert (3rd son) was born in Alveston.  I too have an aerial photo of the house.

We must be cousins, I moved to USA in 1968.   My father was Charles Frances Champion.  My cousin Janet (mother Mary Bicknell) and I are visiting Alveston this month and plan to explore the area, visit the Owls Nest and the cemetery amongst other places.
