Hi Jackie755

I am also related to the Smiths from Filshies Land in Duntocher through the eldest son William. I've recently been try to track my family and have found some information through Scotland's People. The father Thomas Smith was born to John and Sarah (nee ??) and the mother Elizabeth McLaren was born to John and Ellen (nee ??). From what I remember Elizabeth was the keeper of the well in Duntocher.
Hope this assists.

Hi, You have the name Gallacher in your list and I was wondering if it is my line.  My mother was Margaret Gallacher, born to Elizabeth (Lizzie) Gallacher who was the daughter of John Gallacher. I have bee trying to get info on Lizzie all I have are her birth and death records and one census.  I have been trying to find out where she is buried but am having no luck
Thank you

Hi Paul,

Welcome to RootsChat. When you reply to a topic on RootsChat the other posters are notified by email of your new reply hopefully Jintyjo will reply very soon.

Edited I have just checked on Jintyjo's email notification and sadly it looks like she may have changed email address maybe one of the other members is still in touch with Jo?

Regards
