Grave yards or churches in Dumbarton
« on: Sunday 02 October 05 04:43 BST (UK) »
Does anyone have a list of, or know of a site that might have a list, of grave yards in Dumbarton?  I once had a on-line link to my gg-uncles grave site that had been photographed.  He died while serving in the marines, so perhaps that was why it was on-line, but I lost the link several years ago.  Am now trying to refind it, any suggestions appreciated as the searches I've been trying are coming up cold!  Thanks in advance  :)

Wonderful site, but no, unfortunately not the one I am looking for.  Thank you for trying!

Just thought I'd close this off by saying I found it!  It was on the cwgc site - don't know why I couldn't find that before  :)

I think your best bet would be West Dumbartonshire Council.
Do you have any idea where the grave is? If it is in West Dumbartonshire then they should be able to help.East Dumbartonshire for adjacent Parishes.I am sure they have Websites but dont know them.Hope this helps.
