1841 census look up Jones Glamorgan

Would some kind soul please look up this family in the 1841 census

William Jones b 1807 Dowlais
Martha Jones b 1812 Rhymney
Thomas Jones born 1836 Dowlais

Hi,
I've had a look on 1841 Glam census and have had no luck. Do you know what area they were living in? because if it was Dowlais, I don't think this was covered by Glamorgan.
Any other details you have may be able to help and I'll have another look for you.

Sorry I don't have any other details.
I think they must have been in Dowlais because all their children were born in Dowlais. They had several more children born after 1841.

 It's interesting to hear that Dowlais wouldn't be covered by Glamorgan.
Where would Dowlais be in the 1841 census?

Dowlais is part of Merthyr Tydfil, and as far as I know it should be covered by Glamorgan census.

However, there have been some census details missing for parts of Methyr. I am not sure if it is the 1841 details, or another year.

I'm sure someone else will be able to give this information.

I've had another look and the best match I can come up with is this;

Schedule: 177
Address: Oak Hall

William 35yrs, 1806- Labourer
Mary (could be Martha) 30yrs, 1811
William 5 yrs, 1836
Thomas 3 yrs, 1838
John 7 mths, 1841

Don't know if this is the right family as William was born in the year that you said Thomas was born, but this is the best match I could find.
Hope it helps, even if it just eliminates these from your search.

 I am larning more  about the geography of Wales than I knew before, that's for sure.
Sure looks like a possibility that this is the Jones I am looking for.
