There are other Finns in Australia also, my parents have a contact address. They found our home and visited. I am not sure how they are connected, but I expect my parents will, so I will start asking questions. I will send message on personal screen now.

Hi, Im not sure if this is from the same Finn family.  I was at a roadblock for about 6 months on a Gorman/Turner family until yesterday, I found out that the Turner family is from Tonavane, Tralee, County Kerry.  after some more research I am pretty confident that My 3rd great grandfather (William Turner) married Mary Finn from CURRAGRAIGUE, Tralee, County Kerry. 

The record I have shows that Mary Finn married William turner on 18 Feb 1868 in Tralee Parish.  I am trying to confirm that this is the same William Turner who's Daughter Mary Turner married a Jeramiah Gorman after Moving to New York city, NY, USA.

Could this possibly be from the Same Finn Family as yours?  and if so, are you able to confirm any of this info?

Also if it helps, the record for Mary Finn says her father's name is John Finn, but does not list a mother.

Hi sad, so sorry I didn't see this previously. Last year was an extremely difficult one and family history was the last thing on my mind.  I have not found any links to Turners or Gormans even though I have a number of Mary Finn's. It seems to be a popular name.  I will keep this post in mind and get back to you if I do find a link.
