The photos of Cilcain were great to see as my gr/gr/grandmother was born there in 1831.
Does anyone know what the population was back then
from Maureen.

In 1901- the population was 362.

 I had imagined it to have been a small village back then, but  I've read there were mines near there so maybe there were a lot of  miners living  there.
