Henry KULET - Watford, 1750-1833
« on: Thursday 13 October 05 14:43 BST (UK) »
Henry was married to Hannah, but I don't know when or where.

He first appears in Oxhey, Watford, in the 1779 Militia Lists for Hertfordshire.

His son Henry was baptised in Watford in 1780 and his daughter Elizabeth was baptised in Watford in 1786.

Henry was buried in St Mary Watford in 1833, aged 78 having lived in Watford for at least 54 years.

Hannah, his wife was buried in St Mary Watford in 1828.

Has anyone heard of Kulet or variations before.  I would greatly like to find Henry's birth and marriage to Hannah.

Many thanks

Pat

Welcome Pat :)

I hope that you visit us often and make lots of progress with your research.

All of Herts marriages up to 1837 have been indexed and are available at HALS - Allen Index.

If you cannot visit in person, and if no-one who is visiting offers to check for you, they do offer a very reasonable research service.

Thanks Rick

I have tried the allen index to no avail.  The only Kulet on the GB IGI is Henry's daughter Elizabeth (my ancestor) when she married William Chapman in Watford.

The only other possible Kulet is Elizabeth's brother, Henry, whose IGI entry is under the name Kuerlett.
