Looking for any details of Kinnaird Patrick B 1874 in South Shields, parents Kinnaird Patrick Father and Catherine Patrick nee Fraser.
Patrick b. 1874 married Mary Anne Rae, m. in Hawick 1909 Mary was aged 35 & Patrick was aged 39 any other info would be appreciated. need to know what happened from then to now? Regards Jim

hi Jim, i don't know that i can help you directly, but you've got me intrigued.  have you any idea what your senior Kinnaird Patrick's parents' names were?   

as you've probably out, found it isn;t a very common name.   my Kinnaird Patrick [1782-1825] married Ann Keith [c.1783-1875] in 1803, Dundee ANS. as you can see, he died well before his wife .. TB that took him.

they had at least 9 sons, and although Kinnaird & Ann didn't, to my knowledge, call one of their own sons Kinnaird, it is on hte cards at least one of of those sons will have continued the name.  i would love to know. 

our Kinnaird was an east-coast seaman but only some of his sons went to sea.  others learned a trade.

hi Jim, i don't know if you're still on this forum but i've made the connection between our Patrick line and your Kinnaird Patrick.  our family is laced with the name.  i'm afraid i cannot supply descendents to your own couple.  but i have the previous 4 generations if that's any help and you're welcome to the info. 

nice to know someone else out there is researching our Patrick line.
