Third reply today. . . . . .   :D

I'm still digesting all you have given me.  Yes I have come across the IGI record for Samuel Crawford married to Elizabeth Curry. I have yet to prove or find the source.

We have a bit of a discrepancy here as on the death certificate of Francis Ferguson Crawford his mother is mentioned as Elizabeth Crothers.  Of course I am assumng they were brothers.  It is thought they might be brothers but not yet proven.

On David Crawford's marriage certificate his Father is recorded as Samuel Crawford, Farmer. The marriage took place at Parkgate in the Parish of Donegore in the County of Antrim, Northern Ireland.

David Crawford: Son of Samuel: arrived per "Escort" 20 Dec 1860 with his wife Mary & baby daughter Mary.

On David Crawford's death certificate, his Father is recorded as Samuel Crawford & Mother Elizabeth. David is recorded as born in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

On Francis Ferguson Crawford's death certificate, - his Father is recorded as Samuel James CRAWFORD: Mother Elizabeth CROTHERS.

In IGI records using Family search of Francis Ferguson Crawford: his Mother is recorded as Elizabeth CURRY:

All for for thought.

Thanks again.

Bye from Dye.  :D  ;)  :)

Have to dash so quick reply.

1st Donegore Presbyterian Church has, I understand, served the community of Parkgate since 1627. Church records have been microfilmed by PRONI. If you go to http://www.presbyterianireland.org/about/records.html#d and scroll down, you can see the index reference and what is covered.

I will follow this up.  If I have success I will let you know in the future.  :)  :)  :)

Rootschat is an excellent medium.  It is so good to chat to someone who has had experience in the area one is researching.

Keep up the good work.  It is appreciated more than you will ever know.   :)  :)  :)  :)  :)  :)

Best wishes, Dye.
