DH Mosquito MK X1X/J30 (A03062)

This night-fighter version of the "Wooden Wonder" was delivered to the RAF in early 1944. Later that year it was very successful in detecting and destroying V1 flying bombs as well as offering support to the alied bombers in their nightime raids, concemtrating on attacking the Luftwaffe's night fighters. In 1948 refurbished versions were supplied to the Swedish Air Force.
