How do i track down a birth pre 1937??

You 2 have been so much help on my other topic, and would appreciate a little more!!!

I'm not either of the 2 yours asking but... do you mean 1937 or 1837?

Makes a great deal of difference to the way to go about it..

Hi Char and Charlotte  Smiley

Char you would use the Church Records.

These can be for the Parish Churches, Wesleyan, Baptists, Methodists, Quakers, and more.

The I.G.I. has a lot of them recorded although Northamptonshire is not well covered.

Alan Clarke has done a cd rom of 1700-1750 (must get it  Smiley) Baptisms for
numerous villages in the county.

Char why not ask any rootschatters here for help as they are all experienced
and willing to help as sometimes I don't come on for awhile and they could be
responding to your request quicker like Charlotte.  Smiley

transcribed for Northants.
