What time frame are we taking about with regards to your Edwards / Edwardes?  We may be able to assist you more if we have a little more detail :D

I know they lived there in the 1600's and at least the early 1700's.

Hello again!  :D I have just stumbled across this

" *WILLIAM EDWARDS, son of Richard was born 01 Nov 1618 in London.  The Edwards
at that time were residents of Edwards Hall, near Cardiff, Glamorganshire, Wales.
WILLIAM had at least four sons, William (who settled in Jamestown, Virginia), John,
*THOMAS and Robert.  Some accounts say the brothers came to the colonies together and
settled on land granted to them by the King of England.  There was a William Edwards, son
of Reverend Richard Edwards of Wales, who came to Boston, Mass. with his stepfather,
William Coles in 1630 and settled in Hartford Connecticut about 1636.  This information,
and the fact that WILLIAM, son of RICHARD, died in Hartford, Connecticut, make it
extremely likely that it was our ancestor WILLIAM who was the original immigrant from
Wales. "

I have also found a mention to Edwards Hall here:

I'm trying to get more information with my ancestry line, to back up any info I've already found. I never had the opportunity to meet my bio father, so it's been neat to find a nice historical background in my family lineage.
There seems to be a lot of mixed info on when Edwards Hall became the family home? Does anyone else have any info on the estate?
Thanks for any info!
