Will the missing Mary Jane SCHOLEFIELD be found?
« on: Wednesday 23 August 06 01:29 BST (UK) »
Yesterday I was thrilled to have two of my SCHOLEFIELD sisters found, so I am hoping that someone can now help me with the last sister, Mary Jane.  She was b. Sep. qtr. 1865 in Greenwich, daughter of Elizabeth and Richard Scholefield.  The last sighting of her was on the 1881 census for Plumstead, at 8 Cambridge Rd. I can't find a marriage for her in that area.
Thank you, and keeping my fingers crossed.

Pauline, I think I have found her under Schofield, she is working as a Domestic servant, do you want the complete household?

You've made up the trio!!  Thankyou so much Cazay. If its not too much trouble I would appreciate the others on that census please. You never know what other clues are on them don't you think?
Thanks again,
Pauline

Too right Cazay!!  Would it have been an upper class sort of boarding house do you think?   I might go and look at a map for Kidbrook Park Rd. - it sounds a bit "posh"
Thank you very much for all your help - I really do appreciate it,
Warm regards,
Pauline
