A History of Ireland in Song mentions a number of the events that took place during the '98 Rising in Wexford

"A History of the Rise, Progress, and Suppression of the Rebellion of the County of Wexford in the Year 1798" by George Taylor. Pub. 1829 by William Curry, Jun. & Co.

Sir Richard Musgrave (1757-1818) was the author of one of the most successful early works published on the 1798 Rebellion. "The Memoirs... a work so steeped in anti-catholic prejudice as to be almost worthless historically." ( Dictionary of National Biography)
