Title: S.O.S
Post by: langtry on Friday 04 November 05 18:37 GMT (UK)
Hello to all,

Not sure where to go on this one so am asking if anyone might be able to come up with an answer or two?

I have just received a marriage certificate from PRO,andit gives a John Boyland of full age married to Maria Mason of full age, thet were married on 16th January 1849 (details from Free BMD) Father if John given as George Boyland occ. Soldier.
The marriage ceromony was conducted at the Catholic Chapel Portsmouth, and the couple were resident at time of wedding at Marine Barracks Portsmouth.
I am assuming that they were both born circa 1828.
I would very much appreciate any help on this one,I need details of parents and anything that can be found.
Would 1841/1851 be the answer.

Regards,
