I have obtained the following information from St.Mirins Cathedral in Incle Street;
According to our records the only John Morrow, whose death is recorded in
this Parish, lived at 27 Dundonald Road, and he died on 5 October 1968.
I had a great-grandfather of the same name who would have been born in Paisley around 1888 to the parents Ellen & Thomas Morrow.
Can anyone help me by finding out if this could be the same John Morrow. So far I have had a nightmare getting any info on this family.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there
If he was born in Paisley his birth would most likely have been formally registered so it would be possible to obtain a birth certificate from scotlandspeople.
If it is the same man then there may be clues on his certificate such as family names which have been carried forward into the next generation which could confirm if you have struck the jackpot.
Obviously his death certificate would not be available from the same source as it is so recent.
Worth spending a few pounds to find out especially as his marriage would probably be available too.
