Hello
Can anyone help me please, i have tried looking up the place where my Nan was born but can not seem to find its existence. I know that it can't be a error as her brother and sisters was born in the same house.
The address is 9 Dorset Place, Margate (St John Baptist).
Also would anyone know of the existence of this family? Parents was William James & Lucy Bell Pearce, living at the above address.
None of the family know anything of them, so any information would be gratefully recieved.
Look forward to hearing from you

Hi Jeannette,
Dorset Place is/was next to St Johns Church - from 17 Charlotte Place to Church Square - as in Kellys Directory 1936-
no Pearce living in above in 1936.

Hi Manokent
Thank you for that information. I discovered this morning, that my great nan died in 1934, so possibly William moved away after that.....
Also could i ask is it possible to find a directory of Children's homes for the Margate area? from around 1918 - 1930?
