Could some kind person take a look in the 1841 census in Hull for my William (and John) TUTE??
I have him on the 1851 and following census, with his wife Anna (or Hanah) and children. He is a painter.
I have been unable to find a marriage date for William and Hannah, but looking at the age of their first child, it was probably 1844.
I have however, found a marriage for William Tute and Charlotte Rooke in June 1843. Looks like it must be the same William. He's a painter, living were they were living at a later date, etc.
Now I know his father was JOhn TUTE(also a painter) I wonder if they could be found on the 1841 census
Thanks
Gill
