she married a WILLIAM JARDINE ON THE 11/01/1848 KIRKPATRICK JUXA DUMFRIES

IGI has a possible match

Elizabeth Borthwick b. 24th October 1815 Kirkpatrick Juxta

F. Alexander Borthwick

M. Mina Mitchell

I also noted the IGI for Elizabeth's marriage is to Andrew Jardine and not William.

I am pretty sure that this must be my Elizabeth but  by the 1871 census in woodstock oxford  it gives her birth as 1821 Scotland  about 6 years out  but she had a daughter called wilhelmina so it looks possible
