your pictures probably have names ending with .bmp (BitMaP Format)
If you load the picture in a program like IrfanView (freeware) then you can
a) change the format from BMP to JPG which needs less bytes, and then
b) in the "image" menu there is a "resize" option. you can change the size of the picture to anything you want.
if you already have your pictures in JPG ot GIF, just use b)
another tip:
If you have scanned the picture in using a scanner (probably 300 dpi) and want to print it, then you need to size it down to about a quarter (75 dpi)
Hope this helps
Ahh thanks Barry - it was me mam. I'd been rabble-rousing in teh street all day at my nan's house and I didn't want to go home so I threw a strop and my darling mother preserved it for ever. LOL.
1976 the summer of sun.
Anyway, somebody threw the gauntlet of passport photos... c'mon guys don't be shy...
Who's a pretty girl, then??
;D Mick, I believe the brakes were only an optional extra on that model. Great story! ;D

You can download IRFANVIEW from: http://www.irfanview.com/
I think a size of 200- 250 pixels looks OK.
(I still think we need a "technical help" board, so we can find this sort of stuff quickly ... !)
Mrs Lizzy, what a lovely thing to say, :-[
It is a very flattering photo I can assure you, I never look like that except when I am getting married. ;D Once so far.
You have changed your Coat of arms, this one is much more colourful, I like it. I did like your old motto though. A mind conscious of right, I wished it was mine.
Kazza.
Dump your husband, marry one of my brothers, and it could be! Except it is just "a" Phillips motto - no evidence us Camberwell Phillipses are connected at all - much to the Conscious of Right Phillipses' relief!!
You are all obviously destined never to see my glamourous chops !!
Joanne,
Take a deep breath.............. ;)
In the Post reply window, underneath the bit I am typing this in, there is an arrow, and Additional options.
Click on additional options, and in the top attach box, browse to the file name. Select it, and it should appear in the box, then press post.
Next cross all fingers, say a prayer and tap your head 3 times saying, I can do it, I can do it.............
Hey presto, it should be there. ;D
Kazza. ;)
Joanne and Su, you are both lovely
Kazza. ;)
GJ, SIT!
Joanne and Su, you are both lovely
Kazza. ;)
How come you never said that about me? I,m gutted now! :P
You all look so young. Am I the oldest one here? Who over 60 is brave enough to say their age. You can tell mine from the early picture.
How many silver surfers there?
Sylviaann
I guess Dad's not Welsh then(judging by the rugby shirts)
