Can anyone help me with information about John VICK from Hampshire and his family at Lydd in the 1851 census?
I understand that his daughters may have been born in Ireland, but I can't find them anywhere.
Is there any sign where his wife may have come from, or other family members in 1851?
By 1861, I think the family might have moved to Boldre in Hampshire.
A very elusive family; any help welcome.
Many thanks

Thanks a lot for this very helpful (and fast!) posting.
John Vick was a Coast Guard; I wonder what he was doing in Ballymena in Ireland?
It looks as if he married Charlotte CANDY in Fawley in Hampshire in 1836. They must have moved to Ireland for a while, and then back to England.
I wonder where they were in 1841? Do you have acess to the 1841 Census?
Kind regards

The 1851 census shows Mary Ann aged 10 born Ireland so it looks as if that's where they were in 1841. Can't see any sign of them in England.
