Title: Thomas Hall, Cootehill, killed WWI - COMPLETED
Post by: aghadowey on Saturday 05 August 06 19:41 BST (UK)
Garvagh, Co. Derry war memorial lists Cpl. T. Hall twice (under those killed & those served). Wreath laid at dedication mentions mother Mary Hall & brother Francis Hall?.
On IGI found births for 3 children of William & Mary (Robertson) Hall- Mary Ann Mullan (1878), Robert (1879), William (1880)- all born in Garvagh area.
Checked CWGC website and found Thomas Hall, Royal Irish Rifles, died 7/3/1917 age 26 "son of William & Mary Hall of Garvagh, Co.Derry. Native of Cootehill, Co.Cavan".
Am researching those on Garvagh war memorial. Does anyone recognise this Hall family or have information on them?

Thanks for your reply. Was searching for information on Thomas Hall killed in WWI. Family lived in Garvagh, Co. Londonderry and am not sure if any of these Halls stayed in Co. Monaghan.
