I'm looking for Martha Isaac b 1818 in Swansea, Glam. I don't know who her parents were.

Martha married William Davies in 1846 .

There is a Martha Isaac in Swansea on 1841;
Living at Bryn Melyn, Swansea;
Mary Isaac age 56 born in county  occ; ind
Martha Isaac age 20 born in county occ; ind (independant means).

Hi, there are two in Glamorgan but this one is living in Swansea

Hi guys

Thanks for the census details. I thought I might have been lucky with the name Martha Isaac not being as popular as say Elizabeth Jones.  I'm unsure which Martha Isaac it is as both are possible.

I've sent off for her marriage certificate (so hopefully that will help). After she married she named a son Griffith (which could possibly be after her brother  - if its the Martha from Cadoxton).
