Hi Gordon  :)

The chat room is good, but for starters you could post an enquiry on the England board:

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/board,1.0.html

Scroll down past the counties, and you will see the general England board below it.  Good luck!!

Or this board

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/board,48.0.html

which is specifically for Census look-up requests, as well as other resources.

Hi Gordon

In addition to the above good advice:

Please do not post lots of identical threads - most people will see a post regardless of where it is posted by reading "Unread Topics since your last visit".

Duplicate posts can lead to frustration, when people do work that has already been done elsewhere.  For that reason, Mods are inclined to delete all but one of them anyway!

Good luck with your search and if you need further help either ask here or contact a Moderator (their names appear in red in the list of Rootschatters online)

kind regards, Arranroots  ;)

Thanks to you all for the replies, i have picked just one board to post on as not to flood them them with the same request.

         Thanks Gordon
