Title: Willer Family, North Walsham
Post by: alllegs on Sunday 14 January 07 14:28 GMT (UK)
Hi,

I have the following on the 1841 census, but cannot find them on the 1851.  I can't find birth for the any of them or a marriage for the parents, or deaths for any of them.

Joseph Willer, 40, Tailor
Ann Willer, 40
Eliza, 14
Cook, 12
Elizabeth, 6
Clara, 3
Reuben, 1

All born in Norfolk.

I then have Clara on the 1851, aged 13 or 15 as a nurse servant, born North Walsham.

And then Joseph aged 62, Ann aged 56 or 58 and Clara aged 25 on the 1861 at Little London.  Josepth was a Tailor, Ann a Tailoress and Clara a shoe binder.  Jospeh and Clara both born North Walsham and Ann born Lammas???

I would really like to find a birth record of some sort for Clara and a marriage record for her parents.

Clara went on to have at least 2 boys, Frederick (b 1861) and James (b 1864).  I have no idea who the father was though.....  Any ideas?

I'd also like to find them on the 1851 census if possible.

TIA
Legs

Transcribed as Weller on ancestry - HO107/1809 Folio 89 Page 16, do you need details or are you able to look it up?

Regards
Catherine  :)

Excellent Eileen,

Thank you.  The probably explains why Jospeh and Ann named their son Cook then!!

Thank you again

Thank you again Catherine.

Don't worry about typing it all up, I've got access to ancestry so I'll go look.  Why didn't I think of looking under Weller?!!

Thanks

Thank you Yokel.

Thats great.

Now just need to find births, marriages etc!!  Norfolk doesn't seem to be very well covered on IGI and I can't find Reuben's or Emily's birth in the BMD's.  Grrrrrr!!
