Title: George Osborne - Tonbridge
Post by: Mary jane on Thursday 18 January 07 12:45 GMT (UK)
I wonder if anyone has any information on George Osborne bc 1820 Tonbridge married Mary Ann Stokes in 1849 and was living in Islington in 1851.  I would like to trace his parents if possible

Many thanks
Mary Jane

Is this the marriage?

Apr/may/Jun 1849 St Giles area, ref 1 64

entries for both Mary Ann Stokes, and George Osborne

Getting the cert would give his fathers name

Hi Mary Jane,

There is this one on the !GI:

Christening, 9th. April 1820 Tonbridge

Parents: George and Elizabeth Mary Osborn

If we could find the above in 1841 ..  ..
