Title: Marriage - 1799 - Wentworth, Boulter & Betts

I would be grateful if someone could look up this marriage.  It took place in 1799 in Wentworth between John Boulter and Mary Betts.  I am looking for any information that might lead me to fnd out where they both lived, as I can't find any baptismal records for them in Wentworth.

Found the marriage-15th april 1799. The records have them as "both of this parish".

No sign of baptisms for them in Wentworth-I also checked a couple of neighbouring parishes-Witchford and Witcham but no luck.It's probably worth looking at other nearby parishes though.

Thanks for the information.  The only baptism I found that John Boulter that would possibly fit the timeline was one John Boulter born 1777 in Waterbeach, but that is quite a distance from Wentworth.  I am going to try and find John Boulter's death (hopefully after 1837) and get his parents etc from that.

Unfortunately death certificates do not include parents' names, just the name of the informant

Yes I suddenly remembered it was only in Scotland that that happens, once I had pressed the button!!  It would be so much easier if England did that!
