Is there any possibility that you can rescan your pic at a higher resolution, preferably 600 dpi. This pic is only scanned at 100 dpi and it will be very hard to get a good result.
You might find it useful having a gander at the scanning tutorial posted near the top of the photo restore board. It explains what is meant by dpi etc.

I did say i was useless.
have changed the resolution from 100 to 600.But when i scan it doesn't fit the full photo on the screen for me to save,
So any suggestions please?

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. I'm not quite sure I follow what the problem is but have you tried setting the scanner to scan at a specific size ie the actual size of the photo 10 x 6 or whatever. All I can think of at the moment without talking to you further.

I am trying to attach another copy in 600pxl. but it is not allowing me to.
gone on modify attach photo and browse and chose the new photo but then it says the file is to large.
any suggestions?

E-mail me the full sized pic and I will get it right for posting for you.
I'll also copy you with what I did so that you know what/how next time.
