I understand that there are RC churches at Portglenone, Aughnahoy and Ahoghill. Where can I find information as to names, when they came into use? Also if they were in "full time" use ? I have found (whilst "google-ing")Aughnahoy refered to as St Mary's and being in Ahoghill and presume this is an error as I believe the Ahoghill church is called St Mary's?
The reason for my query is that its been established that a marriage record that I have for Charles Graffin & Jane Darragh for 1879 at St Mary's Ahoghill is incorrect and wondered if it could actually be the Aughnahoy church. Children of the marriage are recorded as being born at Casheltown, Portglenone and Killygarn.

Hopefully this link will help you (http://www.portglenone-cce.fsnet.co.uk/hist.html) a bit. Just scroll down the page.

Forgot to add, it would seem St Mary's, Ahoghill is on the Ballynafie Road, Ahoghill whilst St Mary's, Portglenone is on the Ballymena Road (and seems to carry the fuller title of Church of Blessed Virgin, Mary Immaculate).
You can find out some more details on both churches at this link (http://www.downandconnor.org/default2.asp?active_page_id=151).

Thanks Scotmum.
So they are both known as St Mary's - and both counted as being in Ahoghill?
I was given a transcript of a marriage from someone who had visited the area, but as the GRO couldn't find the record I think it could be possible that I had the wrong St Mary's.
I notice the link doesn't give ant information on the church at Aughnahoy?

As far as I could tell from the first link, Aughnahoy Roman Catholic Chapel was built on the Ballymena Road in 1774, it was then replaced in 1871 by St Mary's Chapel - the first link has a picture of both buildings.
It would seem one St Mary's is in Portglenone and one is in Ahoghill.

Sorry, couldn't get the first link to work at at all yesterday but its fine now thanks. ( Think the problem was with my internet connection)
Thank you for your help and Portglenone pictures.
