Hi All
just had the marriage cert back for Joseph and Jane Roberts and it wasn't the correct one , this couple were from Eglwys Rhos where ever that maybe?

Father of Joseph is shown as William Hughes and should be Hugh I am sure from Conwy
Janes father was down as Robert so there is a spare cert going if anyone wants it..... Jane was from Penmachno!!

and its back to the drawing board to find the correct entry I am afraid....

will keep you posted

Thanks Pam

Joseph's gravestone is on the back wall of the chapel in Penmachno. The rest of the family are buried in LLanrhos old church - the marble cross on the left next to Tom's brothe Joseph Hughes.
Hope this is of some help.

Hi Gareth
Tank you for the information, I have been to the Llanrhos and Penmachno  cemeteries and found the graves.
If you are searching the family tree of Hugh Hughes would love to share any information with you. I have hit a blank wall after Hugh 1801-1881 and I cant find his wife?
Regards
Pam
