Title: Glamorgan Marriage Pre 1837. COMPLETED

Hi,

I am looking for the marriage of Phillip Davies and Susan ?....their first child David was born 1833/4.

Neath, Cadoxton or Skewen is the most likely area from census details

Any help will be appreciated.

Could not locate under 'Davies' but there is this likely possible.

Philip Davis - Susan Stephen married 8 Sept 1833 in Cadoxton Neath both of Parish. 

Beside the entry is (WBP) which means Witness - Banns - personal details - so additional info could be had from the original entry held at Glamorgan records.

That sounds good, I can see a Stephens family next door in the 1851 census ;D

Excuse my ignorance, would the Glamorgan Records Office be able to supply a copy of the certificate...or didn't they get one on those days ???

As far as I am aware they give a copy of the entry in the register I think..  If you email glam records they will tell you...but I know if you want a copy they charge a fee etc.
