Hi There.
Would appreciate any help in finding the parents of;-
Thomas Ticehurst b1842 apparently in Eastbourne, but can't find his birth listed.
He is present in 1891 census with his wife Mary and family at 153 Schoolhouse,Eastbourne. and in 1881 census is living at 6 Rose Terrace Eastbourne. I think both were in the St.Mary's ward.
He does not, however show up in 1851 census. Where was he before the census in 1881 ?
Searches in 1861 and 1871 might narrow his disappearance down. He was a builders labourerer so may have moved to the south coast for work. If so where did he come from.? I'm really stuck. Have you performed miracles before ?
Regards
John

Hi my name is Wanda Reynolds ,
The people I am looking for are my great great grandparents Nicholas and Elen Sparkes and their children ,on the 1881 census I have them living at 51 Pilling st Manchester whether they were there in 1871 or even 61 probably unlikely . In 1853 which is the year of their marriage I have their addresses from the certificate as Nicholas sparkes 44 ludgate hill and Elen Hagan as 60 (poss 10) Angel st Manchester, the best bet I hope of finding more family for them is from my great grandfathers birth certificate George Francis Sparkes born 4th Nov 1860, 4 Thompson court Manchester hopefully they remained there until after the census in 1861.
In 1861 their ages should of been Nicholas 30 yrs occupation possibly tailor, Elen 29, and a george of just a few months
if you could help me out with a look up for any of these at all I would be so greatful

Hi,
I am looking for John Gaines who lived in Denbigh, North Wales, and married Mary Collins. I think he could have been born around 1834, but it may be later. My grandfather was born in 1869, so it would be at least 15 years before then. Mary was also reputedly born in Denbigh, but may have been born elsewhere in Engladn. Help would be much appreciated!

Hi there from Downunder!
::)
I am looking for Robert Black in the 1881 census. In January 1879 he wrote to Australia from no 5 Lord St Carlisle, Northumberland. He can, of course have shifted. He mentions a wife and at least two offspring but no names. would also appreciate any earlier entries for him from 1850 (as a child, then - father also Robert)
