Hi,
can someone find this man and his family for me in both /either census?
In 1901 he is certainly living in Wildmore.
In 1891 he is probaly living in the same area or possibly Coningsby or even Wood Enderby.

Hi Barbara,
many thanks,I would like the servants names as well.Is the wife down as Eliza or is that your shorthand?
I know it's a wonderfully odd name!Seems to be family name that stopped(thankfully)at that generation.I have no idea what it means.I wouldn't be suprised if it has some biblical meaning somewhere along the way.

Cheeky ;) Quite often name variations of all sorts are seen in the census
I don't use shorthand, and neither should anyone else really, no point transcribing if you don't try to put exactly what's there, well, apart from the odd ditto marks (or mistakes!)
Servants :-
Richard Dalton servant s 28 Carter for Mill & Farm Wildmore Lincs
Arthur Mountain " s 21 Miller & Baker Langrick "
Robert Woodwell serv s 19 Miller & Baker Tattershall Thorpe Lincs
Edith Treadwell " s 15 General Servant (Domestic) London Paddington
Kind regards, Barbara :)

Hi Barbara,
sorry, didn't mean to be rude :-[ :-[ :-[ It's just that some other people have given me some dodgy transcriptions of their own and this is going on my family tree.Apart from 1881 I can't access the originals because I can't afford Ancestry etc so I have to hope everybody is giving the exact details.I've come a cropper several times so far but there's nothing else I can do.Again, hope you didn't take it the wrong way.I've appreciated your help.

No, 'twas a joke, hence the winky face, :) :D
and - we do all make mistakes and you need to be certain of the facts as far as you can.
